St Martin's Lane
The English National Opera was founded in 1931 by Lilian Baylis and was based at Sadler's Wells. In 1968 the company moved to be based at the London Coliseum the largest theatre in London with 2358 seats. The company is now at the heart of world opera, it has a large company and does about 20 productions a year for people of all ages. All productions are sung in english.
This season's productions include: The Barber of Seville, Tosca, Rigoletto, The Mikado, The Nutcracker, Cinderella, The Handmaid's Tale and Tristan and Isolde.
