Tate Modern is Britain's newest national gallery for modern art. Formerly Bankside Power Station, Tate Modern is home to the Tate's collection of international modern art from 1900 to the present day. The major exhibitions are:

Collection 2000: Which includes landscape, still life, body and history, exhibited in a completely new way.
The Unilever Series: By Louise Bourgeois to celebrate the open of the Tate.
Herzog & de Meuron: 11 Stations, which show how the former power station has been converted into the Tate Modern.
Between Cinema and a Hard Place: Which explores the boundaries between the real world and fictional spaces.
